I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University - College Station (2012), and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University - Central Texas (2018). I previously worked at an eating disorder treatment hospital with clients and their families seeking inpatient and outpatient care for their eating disorder. I've worked in other care settings as well assisting high school students navigating life transitions, and community mental health. In my past work life, I worked as a litigation paralegal at a law firm for about five years before returning to school to pursue my counseling career. I’ve been in private practice serving clients since 2020.

I work with guys and gals age 16+ who:
Feel like their relationship with food, exercise, or their body has become exhausting or all-consuming.
Struggle with binge eating, restricting, purging, emotional eating, or other disordered eating behaviors, even if they're not sure they have an eating disorder.
Spend a lot of time worrying about their weight, appearance, body image, or what they've eaten.
Feel trapped in the cycle of dieting, overeating, guilt, and starting over again.
Use compulsive exercise to manage anxiety, guilt, or how they feel about their body.
Have OCD or intrusive thoughts that won't leave them alone, or feel like they have to perform certain rituals, checking, reassurance-seeking, or mental compulsions to feel okay.
Experience intense anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, or a constant feeling that something might go wrong.
Avoid people, places, foods, situations, or experiences because anxiety or fear has gotten in the way of living their life.
Feel stuck in “what if?” thinking and spend hours analyzing, researching, checking, or seeking reassurance.
Have a complicated relationship with food or eating because of sensory sensitivities, anxiety, fear of certain foods, or ARFID.
Know that their behaviors aren't helping but feel incredibly anxious about what might happen if they stop.
Are ready to spend less time fighting their mind and body and more time building a meaningful life outside of anxiety, OCD, or an eating disorder.
You’re supporting someone with OCD or an eating disorder.
Maybe you’re a parent, partner, or caregiver who feels unsure what to say, what not to say, or how to help without making things worse. You want practical guidance and support so you can feel more confident in your role while still taking care of yourself, too.

Yes! If you are unsure if what you are up against is OCD, anxiety, an eating disorder, or something else, please come see me and we can determine that together in our first few sessions. A clear diagnosis can help create a clear path forward to feeling free in your mind and body. A strained relationship with your body, food, or movement is worth working on, no matter what we name it.
If you like my vibe and think we’d be a good match, but you want to just walk through some general life matters, relationship woes, or life transitions, you are welcome here too!

Yes I do! If bringing your faith into the counseling room is important to you, I can be of support on your journey. If you are exploring your faith, wanting to strengthen your spiritual beliefs or practices, or simply want to talk with a counselor of Christian faith, I’m your gal. I’ll let you set the pace on how much or how little you’d like to incorporate spirituality into therapy sessions.

I recommend getting started with weekly sessions, and continuing that pace for about three months. After a strong foundation is built, meeting every-other-week, and then as needed for tune-ups is the goal, so long as you are thriving and ready!

Yes! I am in network with BCBS, Aetna and United Health plans. Do you want to work together but I don’t take your insurance? Never fear! Often times, insurance plans offer reimbursement for Out of Network services. You should check your insurance plan online or calling to find our what your OON benefits are. I can provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement. You can also use HSA/FSA accounts to pay for therapy.
Please note: parent coaching, intensives, walk-and-talk sessions, and extended sessions are services that are not covered by insurance.
