IT IS MY JOY & HONOR TO SIT WITH YOU IN DEEP CONNECTION & WITNESS BUILDING YOUR MEANINGFUL LIFE.

Welcome friends, I'm Bobbie. I bring high empathy + conviction, a side of quirkiness, and a splash of lived experience into the therapy room. I leave with bits of wisdom from each client that collectively serves my future clients. I am rooted in proven therapeutic approaches to heal your relationship with your mind, body, and food. I am flowing in flexibility to fit your individual path, values, and needs.

I invite you to bring your uncertainties and fears to a non-judgmental space, and freely explore the path to your desired life.

Evidence-Based Compassionate Care

Skills-based therapy

When life is hard, we need hands-on coping skills in the moment to help us through. I’ll teach you skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) so you never feel empty-handed when life gets stormy.

practice-based therapy

We won’t just talk about getting better, we will practice in real-time. Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) allows us to practice making contact with discomfort and forming a new and more skillful relationship with your internal experience so you don’t have to feel held back from all that life has to offer.

body-based therapy

Your mind and your body are not two separate things, fighting against each other. Your body talks to your mind through your nervous system. I’ll guide you through body movements and skills to have a regulated nervous system and help you learn to feel at home in your body using Polyvagal Theory.

anti-diet philosophy

Diets don’t work, and your body was never a problem to be solved or fixed. Therapy with me means prioritizing healing your relationship with your body over fixing your body. All bodies are good bodies and worthy of trust and compassionate care.

“I knew from day 1 that Bobbie was my ideal therapist.”

She is compassionate, non-judgmental, humorous and truly a safe place to land. I had been stuck in disordered eating cycles pretty much my entire life, but with Bobbie I’ve been able to develop strategies and actionable plans to get me out. She makes things as radical as self-compassion feel workable! Each session has brought me insight that has truly made a difference in my journey to better myself. Thank you Bobbie for all that you have done for me!

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, I HAVE ANSWERS.

  • I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University - College Station, and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University - Central Texas. I previously worked at an eating disorder treatment hospital with clients and their families seeking inpatient and outpatient care for their eating disorder. I've worked in other care settings as well assisting high school students navigating life transitions, and community mental health. In my past work life, I worked as a litigation paralegal at a law firm for about five years before returning to school to pursue my counseling career.

  • Young adult women (20, 30 + 40 somethings) who are:

-feeling stuck in a cycle of unhealthy habits that aren’t working for you anymore.

-feeling lost and overwhelmed by the question “what’s my purpose in life?”.

-battling an eating disorder, disordered eating, poor body image, and low self-esteem.

-battling anxiety, OCD, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and rituals.

  • You can expect to attend therapy once weekly to kickstart your journey and move into a more flexible schedule once you are feeling ready.

  • Yes I do! If bringing your faith into the counseling room is important to you, I can be of support on your journey. If you are exploring your faith, wanting to strengthen your spiritual beliefs or practices, or simply want to talk with a counselor of Christian faith, I’m your gal. I’ll let you set the pace on how much or how little you’d like to incorporate spirituality into therapy sessions.

  • Currently: Monday - Thursday 10am to 4pm. I change my schedule seasonally, that’s how I seem to flow best!

My practice is currently completely virtual. I do Walk & Talk sessions in Georgetown, Texas.
